The department aims to provide ample exposure to the students to enable them to be ready to face the world when the leave the college. To realise this aim, the department conducts various programmes which expose the students to the literary and cultural world. Famous writers, political thinkers and cultural activists are often invited to the department to have interactive sessions with the students.
