a) To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them worthy citizens.
b) To create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth to provide leadership in all walks of life including the Armed Forces, and be always available for the service of the nation.
The sub units of the NCC- Army and Navy wings - are functioning in the college. The authorized strength of Army wing is 160 and that of Navy 50

NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (N.S.S)
The aim of the National Service Scheme is education through community service. It offers the youth wonderful opportunities to help the poor and the weaker sections. It undertakes social service activities, work camps, conducts social awareness classes, socioeconomic surveys and leadership camps.
