The Tutorial System aims at improving the all round performance of the students and providing greater opportunities for personal support between the teacher and the taught. The tutorial system followed by the department involves the following mechanism.
1. The students of Ist, IInd and IIIrd main of graduate level are each supervised by a faculty member designated as group tutor.
2. These group tutors will regularly monitor the academic, extra curricular and other activities of the students. They collect information from the students with the help of structured data sheets.
3. A senior faculty member coordinates the implementation of the tutorial system in the department.
4. The reports on the tutorial system are then forwarded to the general coordinator, a person from the same department, who is designated by the Principal.
